The UNT-NetDragon Digital Research Centre is the result of a partnership that began in May 2018 between the University of North Texas and NetDragon Websoft.

NetDragon is a China-based company that develops massively multiplayer online gaming, mobile applications, and internet-based communities. The company has been operating in the mobile app and gaming industry for 20 years and has more recently partnered with educational institutions, to contribute to research and technology development in K12 and higher education. The UNT-NetDragon Digital Research Centre serves faculty, researchers, students, and eLearning professionals who wish to conduct research and development activities in teaching and learning with technology, across multiple disciplines.
